Judge Paige Reese Whitaker has served on the Fulton County Superior Court since 2017. A graduate of the College of Charleston and Duke University School of Law, she built a distinguished legal career as a civil litigator, prosecutor, and appellate lawyer before ascending to the bench. Her extensive professional background includes serving as the Deputy Fulton County District Attorney, where she led the state’s largest Appeals Division, and as a Georgia Senior Assistant Attorney General, where her work in complex litigation earned her national accolades.  

​On the bench, Judge Whitaker presides over a broad range of felony criminal cases, equity matters, and civil suits. She is a prominent leader in the legal community, currently serving as the President-Elect of the Council of Superior Court Judges and having previously chaired the Georgia Commission on Family Violence.

Judge Whitaker was overwhelmigly re-elected in 2022. She defeated her opponent by a commanding margin of nearly 30 percentage points.
